What to Expect

Communicate with Your Therapist

  • Discuss Any Concerns: Inform the therapist about any medical conditions, areas of discomfort, or preferences.
  • Pressure Preferences: Let them know if you prefer gentle or firmer pressure.
  • Allergies: Mention any allergies, especially if you’re having an aromatherapy massage.

Before the Massage

  • Hydrate: Drink water before your session to stay hydrated.
  • Avoid Eating Heavily: Have a light meal to avoid discomfort.
  • Arrive Early: Give yourself time to relax before the session starts.


During the Massage

  • Dress Comfortably: You will usually be asked to undress to your comfort level. You will be draped with a sheet or towel.
  • Relax: Try to relax your muscles and mind. Focus on your breathing.
  • Provide Feedback: If the pressure is too much or too little, or if you feel uncomfortable, communicate this to your therapist.

After the Massage

  • Take Your Time: Don’t rush to get up. Take a few moments to enjoy the relaxation.
  • Hydrate: Drink water to help flush out toxins released during the massage.
  • Listen to Your Body: You may feel sore, which is normal. Rest and hydrate
